Small Groups
Small groups form a vital part of the life of the congregation, and over half the members of the congregation participate in small groups.

Groups meet variously weekly or fortnightly or at other times that suit the members of the group. An important element of the groups is that they provide opportunity for prayer and worship, developing the spiritual life through study and avenues of service for others.

Importantly the groups provide nurture and support and lasting friendships as we move on our journey.

If you would like to participate in a small group or inquire further about how they operate, please speak with the coordinator, Bill Lang on 6291 1101.

Why Small groups
Small groups are vital in the life of our congregation. hey are the essential place of spiritual group, friendship and nurture. People care for each other in times of need. It is how we connect authentically with each other.

Joining a small group
Many members of the congregation are already in a small group, and a lsi of small groups and the details of their meeting, are on the notice board in the foyer. If you are interested, speak first with the elder coordinating the small group ministry. New small groups are seeded from time to time, so please register your interest in becoming a part of this aspect of our life together.

Resources
Most small groups organise their own study material. There are several resources available from the church office, and the church library also has resources in the form of books, videos and audio tapes. The leadership group of small group leaders meats during the year to discuss the materials they have used. Other useful resources are the Woden Christian Bookshop near the Woden Bus Interchange, and the Fyshwick Christian Bookshop in Fyshwick.
