Governance - Ministry Council
Ministry Council brings together the activities and ministries of the congregation to discern our directions and priorities and oversight their management. Our elders are part of the Ministry Council and they meet separately to consider pastoral matters and to pay attention to the health of the community.

The Council has the normal duties and responsibilities set out in the Uniting Church's regulations, and ultimate responsibility for ensuring the congregation continues to fulfil our obligations as a part of the Uniting Church.

A Child Care Management Committee operates under the Ministry Council and oversees the operations of the two child care centres which also operate under the general auspice of UnitingCare Children's Services.

Ministry team
At the present time the congregation is without a minister. A nominating committee is working towards filling the vacancy.

In the meantime the worshipping life of the congregation is supported through our team of lay preachers, and ministers of the Word from within the presbytery and beyond.

The work and mission of the congregation continues, and we look forward to the time when we can announce a new minister for the congregation.

 

Rev. Brian Thompson will be preaching on two Sundays each month through to mid-December.  During his time with us Brian will also be providing some limited pastoral support, and will be available for pastoral visits. Brian will be available from 9.30 to 3.30 on Wednesdays only.  If you wish to have a chat with Brian, or arrange a personal pastoral visit, please contact the church office to arrange a suitable time.
  The church office
The office is staffed Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 1.30pm Inquiries about the congregation, the Erindale Neighbourhood Centre, child care centres can be made to the church office staff in the first instance.
