Governance - Ministry Council
Ministry Council brings together the activities and ministries of the congregation to discern our directions and priorities and oversight their management. Our elders are part of the Ministry Council and they meet separately to consider pastoral matters and to pay attention to the health of the community.

The Council has the normal duties and responsibilities set out in the Uniting Church's regulations, and ultimate responsibility for ensuring the congregation continues to fulfil our obligations as a part of the Uniting Church.

A Child Care Management Committee operates under the Ministry Council and oversees the operations of the two child care centres which also operate under the general auspice of UnitingCare Children's Services.

Ron Law

Ronald J Law
On 7 February the congregation met and unanimously agreed to offer a call to the Reverend Ronald Law. Ron has responded positively to the terms of the call and is expected to take up duties in the congregation at the beginning of June.

This has followed after twelve months of prayer, deep reflection, and seeking the presence and guidance of the Spirit.

Please pray for Ron and Coralyn as they conclude their time at Alstonville on the beautiful North Coast of NSW and prepare for this next stage of their ministry. And pray for the Alstonville congregation as they now move into a new future.
   
  The church office
The office is staffed Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 1.30pm Inquiries about the congregation, the Erindale Neighbourhood Centre, child care centres can be made to the church office staff in the first instance.
