Karralika is drug referral centre which aims to help people recover from their addiction and build new patterns for living without drugs. Tuggeranong Uniting congregation has a long history of support for the centre.

In recent years, members of the congregation have provided a weekly session of conversation and connection as an opportunity for people to harness their spiritual resources to overcome addictions. We call this gathering "God Space".

The church also provides a Christmas gift for people in the Karralika community, and members of the community have participated in various congregation activities including worship services and retreats. The Karralika Choir has made a wonderful contribution to the church's worship from time to time.

For more information on Karralika, please contact our coordinator, Leonie Ferber.

About Our Church

Our faith community began in 1975 as a small ecumenical gathering of people who settled in the new Canberra township of Tuggeranong. We have grown with the Tuggeranong Community, and our parish centre is the hub for our work, as a place of worship, of gathering, fellowship and ministry.

We come together for authentic and Christ-centred worship. While we worship in a variety of styles, we share a common focus on faithfully listening for God’s Word and sharing His kindness and compassion with others. We express our love for God and others through a range of ministries, and connections with our community.
