9:00am and 10:30am Sundays

Join us on Sunday mornings for a time of worship, communion and fellowship.

 9:00am Service

The 9.00am service is a welcoming group of people who seek a deeper faith in Christ.

Our worship is based mainly on "traditional styles", though we tend to think that this description does not represent our openness to a richer diversity in worship. Communion is celebrated on the third Sunday of each month. Coffee and tea after the service provides the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of our worship in our daily lives and to share our journey in a friendly and supportive environment.

10:30am Service

The 10.30am Sunday worship brings together a group of people who worship God in a relaxed and joyful manner.

As well as Bible-based messages, the music is contemporary and lively at times. Building on our worship beyond music and the spoken word, we often explore alternative ways for individual and group reflection on Bible passages.  Communion is conducted on the third Sunday of the month. Each Sunday we enjoy fellowship over a cuppa after each worship service. On the first Sunday of the month we host a pot-luck lunch, which is open to all of the TUC family, friends and visitors.

Communion is celebrated on the third Sunday of each month, with both morning services joining together in shared worship at 9.30am. At Tuggeranong we have an open table and all, including children, are welcome to join in the fellowship meal.

7:30pm Mondays - Meditation

Meditation in the chapel. A guided reflection to dwell on the things of the spirit. This service is having a pause and will review its activity at the beginning of 2019.

Rainbow Christian Alliance

RCA meets monthly in Erindale Neighbourhood Centre (2nd Sunday at 6.00pm), and offers a safe place to explore issues of faith and sexuality.  Our steadily growing community of LGBTIQ+ Christians and allies enjoys fellowship over a pot luck dinner.  We share our stories of what it means to be sexuality and gender diverse, and a disciple of Jesus.  We encounter the Bible, and explore it through alternative theologies.

Growing in faith

In our faith community we seek to grow in our understanding and in our relationship with God as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ.

We want to be and to make disciples. Our hope is that everyone at TUC will engage in the process of actively following Jesus and help others do the same.

We do this through our worship life, through growing together in friendship and fellowship in our small groups, and as we explore ways to serve our community and the world.

About Our Church

Our faith community began in 1975 as a small ecumenical gathering of people who settled in the new Canberra township of Tuggeranong. We have grown with the Tuggeranong Community, and our parish centre is the hub for our work, as a place of worship, of gathering, fellowship and ministry.

We come together for authentic and Christ-centred worship. While we worship in a variety of styles, we share a common focus on faithfully listening for God’s Word and sharing His kindness and compassion with others. We express our love for God and others through a range of ministries, and connections with our community.
